UI UX Design Specialization CalArts

coursera ux design

I’m a new designer, still trying to wrap my head around the vast world of user experience and human-computer interaction. I’m also self-taught, meaning I’m always looking for new resources to grow as a designer. In March, Google released its own UX Design career certification on the Coursera platform, the platform where I began my UI/UX journey with the CalArts specialization in May 2020. As for how the design world reacted, Michal Malewicz conducted a full video series reviewing the certificate on his YouTube channel and offered a professional designer’s perspective. I think it’s valuable to share my own experience as a junior still deep in the trenches of online learning.
